Our Journey
How Our Mini Cow Herd Started
My dad and I started our ranch because we both loved being outdoors. We liked working on the land, being around animals, and building something together.
After a while, we decided we wanted to get into mini cows. At first, it did not go the way we hoped. We actually got scammed trying to buy some, which was frustrating and disappointing. But we kept looking and eventually found the right ones: two registered mini Highlands named Diego and Clementine.
Diego was our male, and Clementine was our female. We wanted to start breeding them, but they were still too young, so we had to wait. During that time, we spent a lot of time with them and got attached. They became a big part of the ranch, and we knew we wanted to grow the herd.
Later, we found a lady who had three miniature Herefords she could no longer take care of. Their names were Rose, Tulip, and Daisy. We decided to buy them and give them a good home.
After about six months, the cows were ready to breed. We took care of them, waited, and eventually ended up with four calves. One is a purebred mini Highland male, and the other three are Highland/Hereford crosses — 2 males and 1 female. All of the parents are around 35 inches tall.
Now the calves are ready to find new homes. We only want to sell them to people who will take good care of them and give them the best life possible. This ranch started as something my dad and I loved doing together, and now we are excited to share these minis with the right families.
